Stan Moore Says Farewell to Two Good Friends

A few placed horses this week and we had to say goodbye to two horses this week. Sheila's Footsteps left for Santa Anita on Tuesday having been sold, he is making in to a lovely horse and we would like to wish the best of luck to his new owners and unfortunately the other is the sad end of racing with us having to put down my two year old colt by Moss Vale he was a smashing horse but unfortunately became a wobbler (i.e. could not keep his balance and was struggling to stay upright whilst walking). So the kindest thing to do was put him down, it is never easy and not nice but you have to take the good with the bad.

Heavy going all around today and an extra meeting at Wolverhampton where we run Alfie Lunete again she ran a nice race yesterday at Lingfield as did Starlight Princess.

We have just got back from a week in Capetown where we were at the Premier Yearling Sales. Some very nice horses there with a million US Dollars race with the sale and the big race is this weekend the J&B Mett, really would like to see Jackon win that for Brett Crawford.
