Based in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Blackmore Vale in North Dorset, Brian along with his partner Daisy Hitchins have been training under a permit since 2011 with a great deal of success along the way, we have just had our best NH season to date, beating last year's prize money nicely! We are also enjoying our flat runners now, having a very high strike rate for placed/winners to runners.
Now in our second season with a public licence, we are delighted to be able to welcome some new owners into the yard, this is an exciting time for all concerned. Being so self sufficient here at Tall Trees we are very competitively priced and offer outstanding care and attention for you and your horse.
Brian himself has a great amount of experience having been in the industry for over sixteen years and been a top work rider for some of the larger leading flat yards, Sir Michael Stoute and Barry Hills included. Most of his experience has been with young flat horses so to have been training NH horses for the past couple of seasons, with great achievement, has given him a brilliant grounding to make a very successful dual-purpose trainer.
We aim to offer a very high-quality service with a lot of fun along the way, we have some very quality horses for sale, but of course, we would welcome any new horses into the yard. We like to pride ourselves on the fact we don't spend an awful lot of money on buying horses but have now got a proven track record in buying horses and improving them, I believe this is down to the individual care and attention all the horses receive, but anyway don't take our word for it, either give us a ring or even pop in.
