Great day at Southwell races for Nigel Hawke

Anay Turge ridden by Kieron Edgar
What a great day for the yard at Southwell Racecourse yesterday, with Anay Turge notching up his 9th career success, ridden yesterday by Kieron Edgar and as always gave him an excellent ride winning on him for a third time. He is great value for his 7lb claim.

Anay turge won’t run again until the Cheltenham festival where he will have an entry in the Grand Annual and the county hurdle. He came out of his race yesterday really well.

Pagham belle finished 2nd on the same card, she is improving all the time and jumped really well under Tom Scudamore, it will not be long until she gets her head in front. She also came out of her race really well. She also won best turned out yesterday.

Former Thorne farm inmate Tiger Roll who won a juvenile hurdle at market rasen on his race course debut, who we then sold at Cheltenham sales for a handsome profit, has his first run for new connections Gordon Elliot/ Gigginstown house stud, at Leopardstown on Sunday in a grade 1 juvenile hurdle, we wish him and his connections the very best and look forward to watching him win many races.
